We had a delicious meal on the terrace as the sun went down - great food, excellent wine, and a very high standard of service. I particularly recommend the 2023 sauvignon blanc "Khilon" which is soft and fruity.
Yedi Bilgeler Binyards deserves every bit of its 5-star rating! The food is amazing, and their selection of wines is truly impressive. The wine tasting was one of the most memorable experiences, showcasing the quality and craftsmanship of their offerings. A must-visit for those who appreciate exceptional food and a delightful wine experience.
Wow wow wow I'm stunned how beautiful everything was, the ambience of the restaurant and the wine cellars downstairs and the menu with outstanding delicious food just reminded me like I was in new Zealand, I did not expected this in Turkey to have this stunning award winning wines and accompanying by everything you can imagine. If you ever in the area you must visit this stunning establishment, you won't be disappointed.. Next time I will definitely try to stay in the hotel as well
If you are interested in wine, I strongly recommend trying Yedi Bilgeler wines. I stayed at their hotel for the weekend. I tried different wines and they were all very good. The hotel was clean and cosy. I had breakfast and dinner at their restaurant and both were very delicious.
Nice local winery, would visit again but do not recommend making a detour for it unless you’re already in the region. We spent a night at Yedi Bilheger on our trip to Izmir. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff very kind and generous. The winery tries in many ways to emulate the Tuscany feel. It’s relatively new to the wine making business and not afraid to take some risks in how they blend their grapes. Sometimes that works out, sometimes less so. We did a wine tasting of 8 wines, which was very fun but we did not end up buying any bottles. We had dinner at the restaurant, the food was good, but the service a bit rushed. We were only half way through our starters when the waiter wanted to bring our mains. He ended up putting them back in the oven, which was a shame because it dried out the food we ordered. It’s a great place that’s stil trying to find its feet, but worth wobbling through if you need a place to stop or stay in the area.
