Carina Hotel

The hotel is in a good location near center, the beach, restaurants, bars and markets. Service match what to expect from a 3* hotel. Staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. It have a nice swimming pool for adults and 1 for children. A restaurant that you can have a nice meal and a bar for a few drinks. The downside for me is the room isolation. The noise from the road traffic, from other rooms and specially the late hours loud music from the bar can be a trouble if you have difficulties to fall asleep. I will use again in the future.

The hotel is very close to the center of Kusadasi,by foot you can get to the many restaurants and beaches. We stayed 3 nights and the room service never changed the sheets and towels at all 😢 It has a small pool if you don't have high expectations, it would be OK. The breakfast was plenty but tasteless and didn't satisfy. The sight of the rooms is perfect and looks directly at the beautiful sea and sunset. In addition, the restaurant in the hotel has an amazing atmosphere and music with belly dancers. You can have dinner or watch them from your balcony. Unfortunately, it's very crowded, loud, and lasts every night till 2 AM, it wouldn't be a perfect choice if you wanna get a calm rest and sleep.

My family stayed here for 10 days in June. To say the hotel is nothing like the photos is a bit of an understatement. The feeling is immediately shabby. Cracks and dirt everywhere, with beer bottles strewn around for everyone to see. Everywhere you look, there are cracked tiles and peeling, crumbling features. There was always rubbish lying around to pool area. We mentioned to the management that children were cutting themselves in the pool. This was denied by staff until we went underwater and found a shattered cocktail glass at the bottom of the pool. This was handed into the staff and when we tried to photograph it, they quickly turned away and hid the glass. At least three children had to have cuts checked. The elevator was filthy. Trash cans were putrid with rot / rust on the bottom in the rooms. The shower head in the bathroom had to be held together with a plastic bag in order for the water to come out. Single sheets were provided for double beds. The pillows looked like they were the original pillows from when the hotel first opened. There were random holes in the hotel room walls with exposed wiring. The ceiling fan also had exposed wires. The view from the room was of a mountain of rubbish bags / boxes. Having read reviews and responses regarding the hotel bar music, it seemed staff were happy to relocate people to quieter rooms. They were NOT. My 60 year old parents were threatened will police action for asking if the music could either be turned down or they be placed in a quieter part of the hotel. Food took an age to be prepared and was cold every time it was delivered. Some of the staff were lovely, but management were quite aggressive whenever requests were made. We have photos of everything mentioned above but cannot post here. Avoid like the plague, there are beautiful hotels close by for similar prices, which my parents were informed of, when told the police would be called if they continued asking for what was presented in the photos online.

The hotel itself was nice enough and clean. The pool area was nice. The staff that were serving drinks and food need a lot more training in hospitality, inattentive and felt too much effort to get their attention and the bill. We were unfortunately placed here as part of a trip. The music level was absolutely ridiculous to the point the room was vibrating and stopped really late. I struggled to get to sleep until the music had stopped on both nights I stayed here. Would not recommend if you want to be able to relax.

Loud repetitive music until 2/3am every night so far. Terrible breakfast foods. Some staff friendly but overall they couldn’t care less about learning English the basics for tourists. Do not feel welcome in the slightest. One waiter even took our food off our plate and ate some while bringing out to us. Room is filthy, no hot water and air con barely works. It takes ALOT for me to leave a bad review, in fact this is my first ever. The quality of the hotel (or lack of) has stained our holiday. We will never, ever come back here and do not recommend. Save your money.
