The mezza platter was alright. The stir fried beef doner w sauce was rather dry.

We happened to be going by so decided to have our dinner here. Food was good but make sure to use the Turkish menu with the pictures rather than the English menu designed for tourists as the food on the English menu is a lot more expensive. We particularly liked the Adana kebab and some of the Turkish cold starters.

We had chosen to have drinks at CarpeDiem for a change of scenery as we often frequent the same bars in Kusadasi once we've chosen our favourites. If there's one thing the staff make clear at CarpeDiem, it's that the all-inclusive hotels are hurting the town's restaurants. When you walk in they enthusiastically walk towards your table with cutlery in their hands assuming, hoping you'll be eating with them. No need sadly, as we were staying at an all-inclusive hotel like so many. Choose the right table and you'll be sitting next to the lovely parrot who'll whistle with you if you want to play and take peanuts from you. Don't choose to come here during an important football match as the staff will be keenly watching it and service may dip slightly. Not all dishes may be cooked to order as there are bain-maries storing food. Would recommend and return for the parrot alone!

The good was good but be careful the prices on the pictures outside are different from those on the menu apparently because thr portion size is different. The food was good (but the "Margarita" pizza is just a cheese pizza)

Tourist rip off. They swear at you beyond your back. Bad hygiene. For tourist they avoid giving you receipts to cheat on their taxes. Stay away
